Can You watch a class?
No, unless there are some special occasions going on like exhibitions or open houses. We believe that the only way, to understand if our classes fit you, is to try a class. You can watch a class only if you are a parent of a kid that is trying a class. For safety policy no adults are admitted in the kids class, unless parents or relatives of one of the kids in the class in session.
Can you try a class?
Yes, the first class is always free for kids and teens. People over 18 will have to pay a $5.99 fee for the introductory class. The introductory class fee will be refunded when you join. Beginners and expert martial artists are always welcome.
How can you try?
To set up a Free Trial class please visit our school in person; call to be sure that we are there. Trials are one of the regular classes we run for beginners and intermediate levels. Please wear comfortable pants and be 5 minutes early. No shoes on the mats; we use specific and clean shoes.
Which Style should You choose?
It depends on your physical conditions, psychology, combat nature and on what you are searching for....
Unless you have a physical condition that limits your participation to Shaolin classes, we suggest You to try a class for both the styles. Once you tried the two classes, you will know what would be best for You. Don't avoid trying just because you think you are too old or too out of shape for some kinds of training...You are never too old to start a Chinese martial art!
The first class is free for all the styles.
How can you join?
To join you'll have to sign some papers: waiver release (signed at the trial), joining, waiver for pictures and videos, rules of the school. No contract: you will be free to leave the school in any moment but the tuition is not refundable.
Your payment will be always the same date of your joining, every three months.
Uniform and shoes are obligatory, but usually you'll have to wait for us to make a order with our whole sell account. You'll pay for it when we will make the order.
The uniform for the Shaolin adults classes: black pants, black school t-shirt and Feiwe shoes.
The uniform for the Shaolin Kids: black pants, orange school t-shirt and Feiwe shoes.
The uniform for Tai chi and Qi gong: black pants, white school t-shirt and Dowin shoes.
Can you meet with the Teachers before the trial class?
Yes, just call to be sure we are going to be at the location, at the moment you want to visit us. Please just people interested in trying and joining the classes.
Do we have a sash rank?
Yes we do. Even if we are a traditional Kung fu school, we believe that Western people need a sash test to understand their progress. Moreover, it is a way for the school to test the level of the student. Anyway, you'll go to test with an average of four times a year. "A black sash in our school is a real black sash." We are not a belt factory!
The cost for the sash test is included in the tuition.
Do we have family discounts?
We do just for kids (siblings). Or one parent and one kid.
Our prices are already more affordable than most of the schools in the area.
