LONG STAFF (GUN)

The Staff: father of every weapon"

 

Traditionally, the gun (long staff) is made out of wax wood, the wood of Ligustrum lucidum, that is hard and flexible and can absorb shock without breaking. The gun is fashioned with one thick end as the base and  a thinner end near the tip, and it is cut to be about the same height as the user.
